About Us

The York County Dog Training Club was established in December 1999 by a small group of dog sport enthusiasts that were interested in bringing more competition events to the central Pennsylvania area. The YCDTC elected to seek recognition with the American Kennel Club and was licensed by this organization in 2001. Public education events and seminars are conducted on a frequent basis including, but not limited to Canine Conditioning, Advanced Obedience Training Techniques and Earthdog training.

This year the Shiloh Veterinary Hospital East had an open house to introduce everyone to their new facility. YCDTC was invited to perform agility and rally demos as well as Flyball.

Dogs' Day in the Park. Animal Rescue of New Freedom's fifth annual Dogs' Day in the Park will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at John C. Rudy County Park in East Manchester Township.
